Hey Huck,
I have just recently tried their coconut charcoal and I have to say I was impressed. There was no smoke at the startup and the flavor was natural and not chemical.
On a side note their website gets updated and changed quite frequently, keep checking it for updates. Today they put in a new "media" section with a video of a burn test in which the results were quite good.
Let me know what you think of it, I am going to use it so long as I can keep getting it.

The coconut charcoal worked out really well and it will be my primary heat source so long as I can still get it.
The taste was a significant difference from regular charcoal.
I picked up the Coshell product in Wisconsin after they told me that's where I would be able to get it.
The guys who work their are really friendly and helped me locate the product while I was in the area.
They are rapidly expanding so expect it to be in your area very soon.

Cool mikeyoneshot. Thanks for the info. It would be cool to do a correspondence interview with those folks or get a bag shipped so that we can do a review on the blog. I'll try to get in touch with those guys soon.

Guys, looks like there is a video of Greg's review listed below

Bigbbq thanks for that link. When I try a new charcoal the first thing I check is the smell when first lighting up. In the video they said no smoke no smell sounds good to me. I'll try it.
