After scouring the area I asked in the Meat Department at Kroger and they ordered a Tri Tip for me.

I did some red potatoes with evoo, salt, pepper and some garlic. I had such success with the corn in the husk so I did corn again.

I am waiting for a Santa Maria rub so as a substitute I use Lawyrs Garlic Salt with Parsley and additional black pepper.

I pulled the Tri Tip at 130° and tented it and put the corn on.

I wish my plated up picture was as good as the meal tasted. I got two thumbs up from my wife and that is the ultimate compliment.

Some fine looking grub. Tri-tip can be a little hard to come by around here also. That's a great price.
