Best smoker under 500

Saw this on the bbq brethern site 5 best smokers under 500 bucks. Not sure if I agree no drum.

I assume Huck and HuckJr. use a UDS. I sure see loads of them on the forums -- I assume you can build one for less than 5 hundo:) (10 minutes to showtime)

We have bds smokers and also have 2 wsm. Just don't think to much of the masterbuilt or the electric smoker.

Even this late at night I learned something I thought all drums were UDS, now I know what a BDS is.
