Todd’s Dirt: Dirty is good for you
We received Todds dirt orginal, crabby and bayou seasonings a while back but at the time we were pushing other reviews out the door to make way.
At first we did one of our unconventional tests and that’s to use these products on popcorn. It was definitely a hit!!! The crabby dirt made us think of old bay seasoning. So we grilled some shrimp which we marinated in crabby dirt evoo and a little lemon juice turned out awesome. We honestly think that this product may have topped old bay seasoning. The bayou dirt begged for some cat fish with its spicy flavor and not just heat. The original spice, we used on a pizza and it definately took it over the top. We used a combo of bayou and orig on boston butt (below) and it produced layers of flavor. We think the orginal is the most versatile, as it can be used where ever you would use oregano, however we’d use all 3 on anything. Our crabby dirt didn’t make the pic because our test kitchen hid it from us
