Kebroak Hardwood Lump Charcoal Review

Up until several months ago Kebroak was a leader in charcoal for restaurants in Miami and the rest of Florida for 8 years.  They now service consumers as well.

In Kebroak lump, the wood comes from central america. A 20 lb bag was donated to us by Sebastian from Kebroak. We used a chimney to start this lump for fear of fireworks. The lump lit easily it had a good smell no fire works. We did 2 cooks with this lump one low & slow cooking 6 racks of spare ribs. A grilled some ahi tuna and shrimp. The Kebroak lump burned long and clean while doing the ribs and when grilling hot no flaming embers and no off smells We compared this to royal oak charcoal and we’d have to say that it’s definitely better.  The amount of fireworks is much less than royal oak.  There were very few small pieces in the bag we had. Kebroak lump is a quality product and we plan on using this brand again.

Cool! Where can this stuff be ordered from? I’ve tried Cowboy and Big Green Egg lump and have been very dissapointed. Perhaps it was during shipping but my bags were mostly little bits that either burned up in a few minutes or clogged my air holes. I’ve resorted to Kingsford Competition Briquettes.
