First Look: Shotgun Fred unveils the new “Onyx Charcoaler”

We caught a glimpse of this last year on our visit with the guru guys on the competition circuit however we didn’t have enough info on it.  Here’s what it looked like in prototype fashion

Well, we caught up with the guru guys at the Pork In the Park contest and now it’s all branded up and we even have audio of shotgun fred explaining its uses to us!!!  Listen below!!!

    Is there a video of the onyx charcoaler? I can’t quite picture its purpose by listening to the audio clip. Does it MAKE charcoal?

    Yes, it’s a charcoal maker that doubles as a high-heat cooker. We do plan to get some video of it. Not sure when exactly though.
