Tasty Licks’ Ribit Rib Rub
Today we take a look at Tasty Licks BBQ Company’s Ribit Rib Rub
A note from the package reads “Savory,tangy, perfect for dry or Memphis style ribs and it holds up under a load of the stickiest sauce! Apply liberally to your ribs and enjoy.” We applied this rub to a couple of spares and placed them on the smoker at 250 degrees for about 4 hrs. We first tasted the ribs without bbq sauce in order to get the most raw account possible of the rub applied to the the ribs. We must say that this particular rub complements ribs very well. Although the package reads savory and tangy, it had kind of a kick to it as well. We anticipated that kick in taste from when we first took a smell of the rub prior to applying it to our ribs. I’m sure chileheads would like this one. On a scale of 1-10, we’d have to give this one a 9. Fred Bernardo and his Tasty Licks BBQ company has put out another winner here.
