The Turduckhen is here

Today we are going to show you how to smoke a Turduckhen w/ bigger pics. We started with an already prepared Turduckhen roll, that means that all 3 meats have already been sewned together. The Turduckhen roll consists of the breast portion of the turkey, duck, and the chicken.

We start out with our completely thawed Turducken roll

We then add one of our favorite rubs. In this case it’s the dizzy pigs Shakin the Tree rub and we place the roll on our V-Rack

If you purchase your turduckhen already sewned together, we recommend leaving the netted twine on for best results. Now time to place it on the grill.

We recommend cooking this turducken cook for about 4hrs or until the center is 160 degrees.

When you take the Turduckhen off of the grill, please allow about 15min prior to cutting it.

There really is no right way to cut this but we’d recommend to cutt along the twine lines—sorta like spiral ham
