Breaded Grilled Wings
Today we tried a recipe sent to us by one of our readers. They stated that you could prep the chicken as if you were going to fry it then place them in a smoker and it’ll turn out the same way. While we couldn’t believe this, we decided to give it a try.
Items used:
1) A Chicken Leg and wing rack
2) Flour
3) Your favorite seasoning or rub
4) Chicken wings
NOTE: WE HAVE ALREADY PREPPED THE CHICKEN PRIOR TO THE SHOOT —-THAT STEP WAS ONLY TO FLOUR AND SEASON THE CHICKEN
We then place the chicken on our leg and wing rack like so

At this point we recommend letting the wings cook for 1.5 hours at 250 degrees

With about 15 minutes left, take the wings off of the rack and lay them directly on the grill.

We then began to put a light coating of our favorite BBQ sauce on them and let them cook for the remaining 15min.

We must say that this recipe is pretty cool however it wouldn’t be worth the time that it takes to simply fry the chicken as the taste is similar. If you have any questions, comments, concerns about this tutorial, please post it in the comments or in the Huck’s Hut Blog section of our new forum site.
*******UPDATE: We just received info that this recipe is from the dizzy pigs bbq team
