How to make Beer Can Chicken
Today we’d like to visit a popular style of smoked chicken. Of course this will have our own little twist. The items we used for this recipe are below.
1) Vegetable or Olive Oil
2) Dizzy Pigs Dizzy Dust Rub (you can choose or make your own rub)
3) 1/2 a can of beer (Make sure you put some of your rub in it)
4) A beer can chicken stand (Not necessary but it makes things neater)
5) Wicked Good Lump Charcoal (Use your favorite charcoal)
***For extra flavor, we recommend using apple and oak wood with the charcoal***
First we start with a small chicken that can be purchased from your local supermarket

Then we season the chicken inside and outside with our Dizzy Pigs Rub

Place the chicken in a plastic storage bad then put it in the fridge for 2hrs
We then get our beer can chicken stand in place

We place the beer into the stand and then sit the chicken over both the beer and the stand

Place the chicken on the smoker at 275-300 degrees

Cook for approximately 1-1.5 hrs and until the breast is 160 degrees

At this point, for presentation and a little extra taste, we put a nice little basting of our BBQ sauce on the meat

And that’s our recipe for beer can chicken
