Quick Tip: Prepping ribs for optimal results

IMG 6024Please follow this short tip to ensure your ribs get optimal results on your BBQ grill or smoker.

Cut away any extra fat from the surface of the ribs. I know a lot of you may know this but some of us do not take this portion off

Use a sharp knife to get under the membrane on the bone side of the ribs

Next, tear away the membrane as seen in the next few pics, from the bone side of the ribs. This hinders any rib rub that you place on this side from getting into the meat

Brizzle with membrane removed allows rub to get into and flavor the meat.Give it a try let us know how it turns out.

I love the sound it makes when you peel that off. And it’s always fun if you can get most of it in one big peel. I know. I’m weird like that :o )
